We’ll be testing them for the next issue so keep an eye out for more information as we get some laps on.

Trinity Kill Shot 17.5 – Did they buy new calipers?

Is the lawsuit against ROAR over with? Is Trinity finally admitting that their last 17.5 had wire that was larger than ROAR allowed? Who knows what’s going on in the crazy little heads at Trinity but they’ve released a new 17.5 spec brushless in the form of ReVtech Kill Shot. This new motor will be offered in two versions; high RPM or high torque. New features include infinite timing adjustment, new sensor board, open bearing on sensor end for easy oiling, low resistance solder tabs, maximized cooling vents, and all designed in the USA by motor master Jim Dieter. This new power plant has been submitted to ROAR for approval (I’m sure they’ll rush to get this one through) so it’s anyone’s guess as to when it will be legal to run at sanctioned events.

May 10, 2013 Update: Ernest N. Provetti, CEO of Trincorp, LLC (Trinity, Revtech, TRC, Epic), has personally contacted us and told us that yes, the lawsuit is still going on.

Velocity RC Magazine sat down with THE DRAKE to chat ride height and how it affects handling on the race course. With his TLR 8ight 3.0 front and center, he talked us through this valuable setup option then treated us to some sick action on the track to display his awesome driving skills.
