SEATS To make the seats stand out, I chose a light tan color for the main sections of the seats and white for the middle areas; this will draw the eyes directly to them and create a focal point. It actually worked out pretty well. Since the tan paint needed a backing color, the accent white was also used to back it. Again, two birds, one stone. After finishing the interior, it was time for me to finish the rest of the body. To complement the fine job on the interior, I used a camo scheme with the same colors as the interior to connect it all together as one uniform design. CONCLUSION As I write this, I’m still waiting on the roll cage and, hopefully, it will include the steering wheel; but you guys will see it completely finished in a future issue— hopefully, with a badass figure at the wheel. Who would you like to see? Eddie, maybe? Kimbo Slice? Or how about the Ayatollah of Rock ‘N’ Rolla, the great Humungus? An even better question would be, do I really have the guts to open the packaging? … probably not. Either way, the end result is a thousand times better than the basic blackout method. Your friends will envy you, and all the ladies will melt as you play with your super-awesome truck with one killer detailed interior. Happy painting! Melting all the ladies with our toys ... said no one ever! WWW.VRCMAG.COM 41
