I’ve been away from the hobby for quite a while, and man; how things have changed! Brushless motors, LiPo batteries, telemetry sent directly to your radio, etc., etc.; however, although all of that is amazing enough, I have truly been stunned by the quality of craftsmanship in the engines now coming to us from Asia. The pure beauty of the latest offering from Reedy, the .21VR-ST off-road engine, is a prime example. How is it possible to produce such a stunner as this tight little mill and still keep its price under four bills, let alone under three! Engine finish of this magnitude used to be exclusive to Japanese…..
