Master of…. some?? At least that’s what I was thinking when I started finishing walls off to make a mini video set out of my workshop. We’ve been working hard at VRC Mag preparing for the release of our first issue and the “to do” list seems to keep piling on! One of the interactive features of our digital magazine will be the incorporation of Youtube videos embedded directly into our publication and many of the videos will be produced by ourselves. So, instead of having a messy pile of rc parts in the background of our videos I decided to “clean up” my shop a bit and get it video-ready. This turned out to be more of a project than I was expecting and I have new respect for those who make a living screwing, plastering, and sanding walls; it isn’t nearly as easy as it looks!
But, all the hard work is almost done and soon enough we’ll have an aesthetically beautiful toy-car backdrop to shoot our turbo informative how-to videos on. One more coat of plaster, some lung corrupting sanding, and a splatter of paint should have us ready to hang some banners and get the cameras rolling. In the mean time, check out our Youtube channel at www.youtube.com/vrcmag shortly as we’re just about to upload our first action video teaser to get everyone in the mood to play with some rc cars!
