Today was one of our first official photo shoot days for the first issue of the VRC Magazine. I’ve been in this industry for over 13 years, and in the hobby for about 25. Shooting RC cars is one of the hardest things in the world to do. Not only are they small, but they are insanely fast, change direction like a bee on speed and depending on the driver, never hit the same line twice.
So feel good about your “luck” like I do if you get a few shots that you say…”hey that looks pretty good.” The great thing about digital is that you can take lots of pictures and get a few good snaps here and there. I don’t consider myself a photographer by trade, rather more of necessity, but it’s actually pretty fun going out in a nice day and standing in the middle of the track having a car drive the same turn 100 times.
Thanks to Revelations Raceway, and Matt “I-turn-21-in-a-few-months-but-won’t-shave-for-10-more-years” Olson for the setting and wheel.
