This weekend is supposed to rain, and it rained on our plans of doing some video with our Traxxas X01 supercar. This could be the only supercar we all can actually afford. What other car you know can crack into 100mph territory for about $1200?
So today, I went for a little drive with my X01 to see if I can get some good shots for the cover of our first issue. Some parts of my trip just begged me to stop and snap a few shots, and this location was one. 55mph? I laugh at you! The X01 is electronically limited to 50mph and you can reach that with the stock gearing. Unlock it with an iphone/itouch and you can soar over that… man this thing is amazing and we haven’t even tried to go fast yet. Bring on your Police radar, we need a high speed RC car chase on the news.
