TAMIYA TRF419XR
The latest iteration of Tamiya’s high-end Touring chassis got some minor tweaks focused on increasing corner speed and steering response. A mature class like this doesn’t require many updates but speeds are so high and competition so intense that every advantage counts. The roll points have been optimized by refining the lower chassis plate and upper deck to 2.25mm and 2.0mm respectively and a center pitch stiffener allows adjustment of pitch rigidity. The front and rear stabilizer bars have gotten the ball bearing treatment for precise, repeatable setup changes. As with all top end Touring chassis’ you’re on your own for body, motor, pinion gear, wheels, tires, electronics, battery, and charger. Tamiya makes some badass cars but don’t take connector advice from the picture provided; Tamiya style molex connectors can’t handle the currents that modern Touring Cars pass so be sure to install some bullets before the start tone sounds. But you already knew that.
