SPINNING STEEL ROTORS MIP EB410 PRO4MANCE We all love their tools and axles, but MIP is also well known for its platform-specific performance bundles for the serious racer. Their latest Pro4mance package targets the Tekno EB410, a unique 4WD electric buggy that smashed onto the scene with great success. The MIP upgrade package focused on optimizing weight distribution for quicker acceleration, better braking, and increased corner rotation and exit speed. The kit includes a reconfigured chassis, carbon splines, battery mounts, steering brace, lay-down servo mounts, and light-weight center bones with MIP 1.5 Pucks installed. It’s expensive with a street price around $350, but sometimes you gotta pay to win! www.miponline.com CASTLE WIRELESS B-LINK It’s a wireless world, and Castle Creations has followed suit with their B-Link Bluetooth adapter for wireless programming of their ESC line, including popular Mamba series. Speed control tuning is essential for customizing vehicle performance with adjustments including throttle, braking curve, drag brake, reverse type, and more. This unit is small, so you can pop it into your toolbox or even leave it installed in your vehicle to tune on the fly. The free app works only on Apple iOS devices for now, but development is ongoing, so Android users will shortly be able to benefit as well. Once the app has been downloaded and installed, it does not require a data connection and can be used anywhere. www.castlecreations.com Check out these super-rad, CNC-machined steel rotor weights. What makes them so fancy? Well, they’re zinc plated and run on bearings, so they spin independent of the wheels. The black-anodized aluminum hub fits standard 12mm hexes and is compatible with all SLW wheels. They come in pairs at 37g each and include all metric hardware necessary for mounting. Be aware of your offset, as these wheel hubs will increase width by 3mm per corner. Expect a bump in performance as well as exotic look, since weight is added low, dropping vital CG on the vehicle. www.ssd-rc.com $350 for a chassis? Ummm Okay. WWW.VRCMAG.COM 15
